Woman slices Penis of man she thought raped her 2 yr old daughter

An Indiana woman is accused of holding a man against his will at a house trailer and using a box cutter to cut his penis.
Johnson County sheriff’s deputies have arrested 35-year-old Bonita Lynn Vela of Franklin on preliminary charges of battery with a deadly weapon and criminal confinement with a deadly weapon.
Vela told police she thought the 18-year-old had molested her 2-year-old son.
According to the Indianapolis Star, the man adamantly denied to police that he had assaulted the child. The newspaper qoutes from the police report that Vela “admitted that her suspicions developed after she had been smoking marijuana.” Vela was also unable to tell police if she had ingested any other drugs befor the incident.
The Star reports two other people helped hold the man, but no other arrests have been made.
The man said Vela first tried stabbing his penis with a fork Saturday, then switched to the box cutter. He told police that Vela said he would be “tied to a tree, shot in the head and then left for animals to eat.”
The Indiapolis Star reports that Vela then forced the man to pull down his pants, and told him ”he would have to choose his life or his penis.”
WXIN-TV reports Vela told cops in Indiana she wanted to “scar him so that he would have to look at it every time that he had sex in the future.”
The man was treated at Johnson Memorial Hospital. Vela was being held on a $28,000 bond. Court records did not indicate whether she had hired an attorney.
